Study Program Profile
The Master’s Program in Health Law (MHKes) is an interdisciplinary program offered at the Postgraduate School of Udayana University, established in September 2022 based on the Decree of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) No: 696/E/O/2022. The MHKes Program at Udayana University presents an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary curriculum in the field of health law, with a unique focus on health law studies related to tourism (medical tourism) and culture (local wisdom). The MHKes Program at Udayana University emphasizes legal studies in health, particularly in the areas of tourism law, elderly health law, traditional medicine law, legal aspects of culture and environmental health, hospital laws (Hospital by-laws), and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
The program has also received a "Good" accreditation based on the Decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) No: 442/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.P/M/II/2024. This accreditation is valid from February 20, 2024, to February 20, 2026, demonstrating the university’s commitment to offering a high-quality education in health law that meets the needs of society and the industry.
